Earth Week

In honor of Earth Day this Thursday we are discussing things we can do to help protect our planet.

We started the week off with a great Earth Day themed assembly this morning. The middle school students talked about how much waste each of us produces over time. They used props to give us some great visualizations on what the amounts of trash would look like.

Each of us in kindergarten is making a personal pledge to do our part to help protect our environment.

Please feel free to share anything with our class that you feel is relevant.

    Anyway...about earth day.
I reckon a great start is "Never drop papers and rubbish around the environment"

  2. Oh I forgot!

In Australia we have a Clean up Australia Day,
in February each year. We all go out and pick up papers and rubbish (with gloves and sharp sticks and garbage bags). I helps to keep the environment clean and free of plastics...they are the worst!!!
