Sharing Our Learning Using Videos

Last week our kindergarten friends in Japan shared a couple videos with us. They were doing research on letter sounds and came across these videos:

We thought that these videos were so cool! We wanted to share a video of the song we sing to help us learn the letters sounds. We did a quick search but couldn't find any videos of the song we sing. We talked about our options and decided that we should just make our own video. We were brainstorming how we could make a video of our own and that's when we remembered that our iPads have video cameras built in. One person volunteered to film the rest of the class. When they were done Mr. Ben showed them the iMovie app and they made a short movie with a little help from Mr. Ben. We think it turned out pretty cool, especially since it was the first movie they ever made!

We think it's cool to be able to share our learning with our friends. You can check out our friends blog post here.
